View Torremolinos off-plan properties here … Torremolinos has one of the best sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol. It is wide with a gentle slope into the water. Parking is relatively easy and very convenient, being only across the road from the beach on the eastern side of town. Much like many seaside towns, properties in the town centre or by the beach tend to be apartments and townhouses. Venture to the outskirts however and there are some stunning beachside pool villas. Many date from the 1960’s and 70’s, but a growing number are being reformed into what are essentially new villas. The beachfront proper, of Torremolinos is home to many hotels, bars, restaurants and shops. Public transport is very good in the town with a train station, local and coastal buses. Road infrastructure is equally good, with Malaga only being 10 minutes away and the airport even less. The main AP-7 road will have you in Gibraltar within an hour and half. Torremolinos, La Carihuela, Playamar, Los Alamos, Guadalmar Torremolinos centre is made up predominantly of apartments. There are a few townhouses in the mix, and if you fancy living in Spain and not needing a car, Torremolinos is ideal. La Carihuela and Playamar are nowadays mostly hotel and apartments. Los Alamos is developing quickly and there is a range of newer villas, townhouse and apartments. Guadalmar is the perfect location for year round living as it boasts an array of pool villas which are only a minutes walk from the beach. Beachside, pool villas start from close to 1 million euros and 1 bedroom apartments from 300,000 euros.
