San Roque has great transport links with Gibraltar airport being less than 30 minutes away and Malaga which is around 2 hours to the east.

Access to Gibraltar is excellent and you can be in ‘Little Britain’, within half an hour. Even if you do not need to visit ‘The Rock’, it is still nice to have as part of your view.

Sotogrande Marina
Sotogrande Marina is an absolute joy for recreational sailors, with the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean right on its doorstep. The marina is one of the largest in Spain and offers excellent facilities for craft of all sizes. There is a total of 1382 berths, ranging from 8 metres to 50 metres.
Sotogrande marina is home to approximately 1400 luxury apartments and townhouses, which sit right on the water. There is 24 hour security and walking or cycling are an easy way to get around in complete safety
The marina offers a selection of weekly activities, and host international events throughout the year.Each week there is a Sunday morning market where you will find a plethora of hand-made products, arts, crafts and clothing.
As well as traditional sailing classes, Sotogrande marina offers electric surfing, e-foils, paddle boarding lessons, rentals and boat charters.
Padel and Tennis
Padel has been an extremely popular sport in Spain for decades and it is now gaining popularity worldwide. Living in Sotogrande will allow you to give it a try, join a club and even enter one of the tournaments. If Padel is not for you, there is ample opportunity to practice your tennis and grab a few classes from one of the local pros.
Polo Valley
Sotogrande is also home to the Santa Maria Polo Club, which is one of the four finest in the world. Each year, it hosts competing teams from all over the world and attracts a wealth of nobility and over 50 world-class ponies. Polo first arrived in Sotogrande in 1965 when Enrique Zobel built the first field. With Gibraltar and North Africa providing the stunning backdrop, the summertime events at Sotogrande are the highlight of the polo year.
Sotogrande is now home to seven polo grounds, four of them are considered to be World Class.
