Living in San Pedro

Living in San Pedro is like living in a cultural melting pot. In the town and down by the beach there are numerous communities which cater for all types of budget and expats. Up in the hills you will find La Zagaleta which is home to multi-million euro residential estate. These properties are owned by individuals who demand privacy, exclusivity and luxury. In between, you will find a great mix of Spaniards and families from all over the world.

Living in San Pedro

Years ago the San Pedro town hall decided to preserve its traditional old town architecture. This wise decision has definitely paid off and allowed the town  to retain its charming character and appeal. The beaches offer a selection of ‘chiringuitos’, which make for the perfect watering-hole or dining venue.

Alternatively the Boulevard de San Pedro may be more to your taste. This lively promenade is ideal for people watching, or enjoying a drink or a bite of lunch at one of the cafes and restaurants which line it. In the summer evenings it is the perfect place to enjoy an after dinner stroll.

Living in Benahavis

A little further inland in the Benahavis area, apartments start from 400,000 euros. Villas in the area are 2,5  – 3 million euros. New off-plan residences in La Zagaleta are now from 8,5 million euros.

Benahavis has become well-known as a ‘gastro-hub’ and if you enjoy high-end cuisine, this is the town to visit. There is a great selection of chic restaurants, replete with rustic decor and world-class settings Add an array of excellent wines, alongside locally grown produce and you have the perfect answer to an evening out.

Living in Benahavis

Located on the southern face of the Serrania de Ronda mountains, Benahavis is the most mountainous village on the western Costa del Sol. This leads to stunning views in all directions.

Living in San Pedro will offer you the opportunity of being close to Marbella and Puerto Banus, yet remaining a little removed from the bright lights. The San Pedro area has become very popular in recent years, especially areas close to the town. The inland areas of Benahavis and the Ronda road have attracted hundreds of wealthy individuals. All in all, this section of the coast will tick many of your boxes and meet most of your expectations.
