Through the years it has grown to be on both sides of the main road connecting Fuengirola and Marbella. La Cala de Mijas is a lively beachside town and very popular with young families. Torrenueva lies at the west end of La Cala de Mijas and borders Miraflores.

There is now a huge choice of villas, townhomes and villas under construction in these neighbourhoods which could soon be it’s own town.

Travelling west from La Cala de Mijas you will find Miraflores, Riviera, Calypso and Calahonda. Although they are separate they have, over the years, amalgamated into what could be considered their own town. Once popular with the international and expat market, they are now a vibrant blend of foreigners and Spanish locals.  You can find beachfront, mountainside and valley apartments, townhomes and villas in all price ranges.
