Mijas is filled with quintessential cobbles streets which wind there way through the pueblo and make it one of the most popular ‘pueblos blancos’. La Cala de Mijas is the original fishing village on the beach, once just a collection of fisherman’s cottages, it is now a thriving town. Torrenueva lies at the west end of La Cala de Mijas.
El Chaparral lies to the east of La Cala de Mijas, meeting at the area of Las Claveles. The El Chaparral has a great golf course and is home to a number of pool villas with sea views.
A little further east and we have the areas of Playa Marina and El Faro de Calaburras which are home to apartments, townhouses and villas. Many of which have sea views.
Travelling west from La Cala de Mijas you will find Miraflores, Riviera, Calypso and Calahonda.
