A few miles west of Marbella, in the foothills of the mountains, in an area of exquisite natural beauty the Marbella Club Golf Resort discovered the perfect place to develop a golf course. In the 1,100 acre ( 472 hectare ) estate there is a variety of indigenous trees such as olive, cork oak, carob, holm oak and Mediterranean pine, combined with an abundance of Andalusian wild flowers and herbs. Above the course there are plots of land with a minimum of acre (3,000m2), Many affording glorious views of the Mediterranean sea, Africa, the golf course and surrounding countryside. A five star hotel, clubhouse, riding stables and 24 hr security combine to make this an exclusive golf resort where residents can enjoy a unique range of privileges.

Within the estate there are plots of land for sale, with permission to build houses that have an overall floor-space of around 11% of the land area. Due to the nature of the terrain and the size of the plots, views from the houses are mostly unaffected by neighbouring property. All the necessary services are provided, including a wide asphalted access road, water, electricity, main drainage and lighting. A detailed topographic survey has been carried out, copies of which are available, together with all the relevant permits.

Each property around the course comes with a right to play for 2 persons. There is an annual fee (currently œ1,350 for the principal golfer, œ 490 for the second golfer and œ 250 for children under 25 )
